The Direct Support Professional I is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: the provision of intervention techniques and support to the person served by Hope Network in a clinical program, transitional and/or long term residential setting, day program or vocational setting. The DSP/Rehab Tech I will provide the appropriate intervention, level of support and/or supervision to support the goals of the person served, ensure their optimal health and safety and assist them to become integrated into his/her community and/or the least restrictive environment. Support and/or assistance may be required in the areas of mobility, activities of daily living, communication, cognition, health management, social networking, vocational, leisure time management and community integration that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of Hope Network.

- Provide oversight, support and care for consumer’s of Hope Network’s service in a variety of settings;
- Role model appropriate behavior and skills to consumers to help them achieve their highest level of independence;
- Use a consumer’s prescribed plan(s) in support of their medical, clinical, therapeutic and behavioral needs.
- Ability to mentor, train and orient new staff

The Lead Janitor is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities includes: Acting as a working supervisor of staff in fulfilling service contracts that provide cleaning and maintenance services. Duties are carried out in a variety of government operated buildings as well as Hope Network facilities throughout Grand Rapids on a rotating basis.Must have the ability to perform the Supervisor role in the event of absences. Responsible for a diverse scope of duties including general cleaning, grounds work, room preparation, and more.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Tech II will perform minor carpentry, general inside and outside repairs, minor plumbing, painting/decorating, minor remodeling, furniture moving and storage, and overall general maintenance. The Off-Site Transportation Supervisor is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include:
Selecting and supervising staff, department orientation, training, discipline, evaluation, scheduling, monitoring, and related recording and record keeping of department Chauffeurs. Must be self directed and possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Responsible for transportation activities conducted in assigned territory while ensuring that all employees and consumers abide by HN policies and procedures. Coordinate all work and establish/carry out work schedules to meet deadlines. Maintain quality control and educate those working on the jobs to the customer specifications. Control labor and other expenses in-line with budget.

The Registered Nurse is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: At the direction of the Program Manager the Registered Nurse position coordinates and provides direct client care for adults with serious mental illness, or children/adolescents with emotional disturbances. Utilizing a Recovery Based process that consist of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. The Registered Nurse works with psychiatrists to ensure good outcomes for persons served, including collaborating with internal and external providers to coordinate psychiatric treatment with medical treatment. The position manages pharmaceutical and medical supplies and oversees medication monitoring and administration under a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.

The LPN Shift Supervisor is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: The overall purpose is to oversee the medical treatment and health status of individuals receiving transitional and long-term residential program. The LPN will work in conjunction with the program Registered Nurses, the individual’s interdisciplinary team and physicians. This includes direct health care delivery and teaching specific prescribed treatments and procedures carried out by Rehabilitation Technicians. He/she will assist the Residential Supervisor in the following operation of the Residential Program: Specifying shift assignments, monitoring medication administration and treatment charting, and staff orientation/training. May consult on health care delivery to consumers of home and community based services.

The Residential Rehabilitation Technician – Certified, Licensed is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include:
Performs, trains and coaches treatment within the scope of therapy certification or medical technician, nursing license. Responsible for residential shift leadership and performs, coaches and has oversight of all Rehab. Tech’s performance of prescribed/therapist-directed clinical intervention techniques to patients in the rehabilitation setting. Facilitates patient practice and increases safe and independent functioning in individual goal areas, including: mobility, activities of daily living, communication, cognition, health management, psychosocial, leisure and community integration. Serve as a mentor to all Rehab. Tech. staff through the development of effective therapeutic working relationships with patients and their support network.
Monitor and provide assistance with personal care, protection and supervision, as needed to residents that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of Hope Network.
